Yes. Actually, quite a number of stations (Z90, 91X, Magic 92.5, etc.) are Mexican-based frequencies. As far as Mexican stations actually broadcasting from Mexico, 88.7 XHITT and 97.7 XHTIM have weak signals into San Diego. I don't know the other stations that are actually located in Tijuana, but they do put in some sort of signal--weak or strong--into San Diego.

Tijuana is closer to downtown San Diego than North County San Diego (Oceanside, Escondido, etc). It is like Brooklyn to Manhattan or Long Beach to LA. In other words, it is part of the market, but not always seen that way because of hte border between the two nations.

All SD stations cover most if not all of Tijuana and all Tijuana stations cover most if not all of San Diego's metro.

San Diego FM's can be picked up in Rosarita, but not in Ensenada.

Peace is the word, and the Voice of the Peace is THE station, 24 hours a day. (Tribute to the VOP 1540 which broadcast for 20 years in the Eastern Mediterranean)</P>

But LA stations from Mt Wilson have no problem in Ensenada (see the current discussion on the LA board). High antenna height and an over water path.

Nit picking department... trhere is no such place as Rosarita. Rosarita is a brand of refried beans. Rosarito is a town.
