How do you describe this format?

Retired grandmas LOVE Taylor Swift. Not sure what the thing is, because it doesn't convey to other young women. Only her.
The funny thing is in the comments that I linked to someone said in a few years they'll be playing Taylor. Well, as you can see "Love Story" (one of her better ones) is there.

The "last songs played" is even worse today (while WERT, a real senior citizen's station, plays "Laura", "Moonlight Serenade", "Our Winter Love", "Games That Lovers Play", "Tennessee Waltz", "Moritat" and "Summer Samba"; both stations WERE playing The Beatles at the same time) .

"Teach Your Children" Crosby Stills Nash & Young
"Hello, Goodbye" Beatles
"Let's Go All the Way" Sly Fox
"Getaway" Earth Wind and Fire
"Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" Stevie Nicks
"My Best Friend's Girl" Cars
"Torn" Natalie Imbruglia
"Forever Young" Rod Stewart
"Tossin' and Turnin'" Bobby Lewis
"Boogie Shoes" K.C. and the Sunshine Band
"Don't Stop Believin'" Journey
"Lucky Man" Emerson, Lake and Palmer
"Word Up" Cameo
"Stacey's Mom" Fountains of Wayne
"This Time I'm in It for Love" Player
"Kicks" Paul Revere and the Raiders
"I Love Rock and Roll" Joan Jett and the Blackhearts
"Y.M.C.A." Village People
"Crash into Me" Dave Matthews Band
"It's the End of the World As We Know It" R.E.M.

After listening to WVLG, it appears to me that the station is a hybrid oldies/adult hits station, similar to WLNG in the East End of Long Island.

Below is WLNG's playlist from the previous hour.

"Rag Doll" - The Four Seasons
"Surfin'Safari" - The Beach Boys
"California Stars" - Billy Bragg & Wilco
"You've Made Me So Very Happy" - Blood, Sweat & Tears
"Jesus Just Left Chicago" - ZZ Top
"Eye Of The Tiger" - Survivor
"Nights On Broadway" - Bee Gees
"The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" - Ennio Morricone
"I'll Follow The Sun" - The Beatles
"It's My Life" - Talk Talk
"Heart Of Glass" (Live from the iHeart Festival) - Miley Cyrus
"We're Not Gonna Take It" - Twisted Sister

This is more of an oldies station, but not quite. There for a minute I thought WVLG had gone in a more tame direction.
