What brand and model of headphones would you recommend for on-air work for $25 or less?

I had some Sony headphones and gave them away.

Still have Koss cans that are 30 years old ... and weigh 30 pounds :).

Thanks.

For less than $25, can't go wrong with Sony MDRV150. It's around $16-$20, carried at WalMart and Best Buy that I know of. While they'll never sound like that pair of $250 headphones, they get the job done, and do it well. I know 7 jocks including myself that use them.

I was about to say-- what does Headphones have to do with Engineering? The mere fact that someone asked about something that everyone in this business has had some experience with- in not only using headphones but also purchasing their own set for work... this is a legit question and it deserves a response that is not only informative but also showing our concerns for economics.. now show me where that falls under the engineering catagory-- I am not sure how..

Headphones are considered equipment and equipment should be discussed on engineering or off topic. This board is for Dallas radio discussion<P ID="signature">______________

You might try Sennheiser HD 202 headphones. I don't own this model but I do own some Sennheisers and I love them. They are $24 at amazon. There are 144 reviews and they got 4 1/2 stars out of 5. It also gives tech data if you are into that. Good luck finding what you like.
