HD multi-cast wish list

Ok, just for fun, lets do a wish-list of HD formats you would like. I've heard you can have up to 8 if ran strictly digital. So if you want you can add as many as 8 formats for each station. Also feel free to ignore and/or move excisiting HD2 channels. Also just do stations your interested in. No need to try and think up ones you never listen too.

92.5 FM: Clasic Country, Folk music,

93.3 FM: morning replay(P&S reboradcast from that day, from 10:00AM to 6:00AM. From 6:00Am till 10:00AM, they could play MMR's regular music for those who like music in the mornings), alternative, 80's hair bands.

94.1 FM: YSP rock, Alternative, classic rock.

95.7 FM: all 80's, all 90's, 80's & 90's retro dance music (Is that what club ben is goona be?), classical (maybe will help them reverse the curse)

98.1 FM: Real oldies (50's) motown & soul, JACK.

98.9 FM: "old school" rap, slow jams.

101.1 FM: Hot AC, Easy Listening

102.1 FM: encore(revisits top40 songs from the last 2 years), dance, Hurban

102.9 FM: Deep tracks

104.5 FM: All Christmas music (I had to give them this lol) sunny love songs

Ok, mine stunk I know, but i'm really not an expert at all kinds of formats. Also the mroning replay one I listed for MMR, I guess could be on any station with a morning show.

Here's mine for the big three non-comms...

88.5 WXPN
---------
1) World Cafe rebroadcasts/reruns/replays from the archives (they certainly have enough)
2) Kid's Corner all the time (why not?)
3) International/world music spotlight

90.1 WRTI
---------
1) All-day classical
2) All-day jazz

90.9 WHYY
---------
1) All-day classical if WRTI doesn't pick up that ball (but no 24/7 outsourcing from Minnesota Public Radio or whatever classical network program is on the SAP channel on channel 12; I want truly local hosts at least during the weekday daytime hours)

Hmmmmmmmm, HD, eh?
88.5: Agree w/ World Cafe

89.3: The daytime format on one, doo-woppin Oldies (Saturday and Sunday format) on another.

90.1: I would do classical on one, trad jazz on the other. Or, do the reverse of the regular format.

90.9: C-SPAN simulcast on one, Classical 24/7 on the other.

92.5: Agree w/ classic country and folk

93.3: Agree w/ P&S Radio. Maybe some classic MMR interviews in between.

94.1: Pure Rock...as in the format they ditched for Free FM

94.5: Bring back "Post-Modern PST"...classic alternative, ala XM's Lucy

95.7: Agree w/ classical, but maybe the "Classic Dance" should be on Q102's.

96.5: Classic rap here?

97.5: Classic rock that really rocks...or would that take away from the main signal?

98.1: True oldies....maybe a re-creation of CAU-FM "Hot Hits 98...HD2!" done a la Q105/Tampa Bay.

98.9: Agree w/ old-school rap

100.3: this one is tough....I might need help here

101.1: Agree w/ B-EZ, another suggestion would be Soft AC....take out the harder stuff from the main format, add more oldies

102.1: Classic dance should be here. Then, a seperate feed for *gasp* DANCE!

102.9: All Beatles and Stones.

103.9: Either classic Gospel pieces or non-stop church services/syndicated fare

104.5: I love the idea of 24/7 "Sunlight Lounge"...just w/ a deeper variety. Agree w/ Christmas.

105.3: Classic Soul.

106.1: Trad jazz

106.9: Sacred/chamber music, "The Word in Praise"

107.9: Classic soul if DAS won't do it.<P ID="signature">______________
I've done it all...HOO HOO...tell 'em, Fred!
