Estrella Media, a vertically integrated, multi-platform, Spanish-language media company operating the EstrellaTV Network, digital media platforms and radio and television stations across all of the top U.S. Hispanic markets, today appointed media industry veteran René Santaella as executive vice president, digital and streaming media.

In this newly created role and effective immediately, Santaella will be tasked with leading the digital transformation of Estrella Media’s strategy, building operations and generating new revenue initiatives.

They have radio in just 4 US Hispanic markets, and owned TV stations are being sold. That statement is hyperbole in its extreme; a hog dressed in silk is still a hog.
