End of the World and I feel fine

After war of the worlds the fcc made rules to prevent mass hysteria from broadcasters.

What about family radio proclaiming the end of the world. Could/should the FCC step in and take the stations licenses away??

Actually, Camping amended - confidently - the "end of da world" to occur in October,
exactly five months after the original EOW date in May.
That "live" press conference he had two days after on his 530-7 pm PDT show was a joke,
btw...much like his EOW message. But he DID garner a lot of press coverage...
