After holding down middays at Entercom Hot AC “New 102.7” WNEW New York since March, Emily West has been handed the job on a permanent basis.

West took over middays in March after the exit of Shannon Holly from the station. She had been with the cluster since 2017 serving as a fill-in host at WNEW and Classic Hits 101.1 WCBS-FM and traffic reporter for News 880 WCBS. She also serves as a fill-in traffic reporter for WNBC-TV. In the early 2000s she worked on-air at WKIE and WKSC Chicago and WMAX-FM and WPCH Atlanta before moving to television in Atlanta and New York.

Prior to joining WNEW West did shows for Entercom's other NYC Stations as fill in host, and traffic.
