Check this out. Now it's not only Sen. Cantwell, but others as well. The tide is turning. Stay tuned, and watch for comments in Docket 05-210, First Broadcastings' last gasp at making rural to urban "move-ins" easier.

And you FCC staff and counsel, all you have to do is hold firm in Sells, AZ.
(02-376), which says that backfilled vacant allotments are no substitute for actual service. Don't weenie out. Just get ready for a D.C. Circuit court appeal. Oh yeah, this is going to be good.

I'd love to see the second-adjacent rules relaxed. The fact is any radio built in modern times will reject a small station signal second adj. with no problems. Fritts and his thugs just want to keep others from having any of the audience. Most commercial broadcasters are so poorly programmed they are scared to death someone is going to do something that will attract some audience, even with a 10 watt signal. How pathetic is that?
