Co-op

Does anyone know of a good resource to find what type of co-op programs are out there for clients? There are many small businesses who know NOTHING about what type of co-op is available. Suggestions?

RAB or other services will have a listing on their web sites of the coop programs with details. Also you can look at the merchandise the client is carrying, get a distributor contact and then contact them for the client, you may need the clients customer number. A little extra work but can pay huge dividends. You can really endear yourself to a client by finding them what will be in their minds "free money".

Anyone want to start a list of some? My info is a little over a year old, but some of my bigger ones were:

General Motors
Honda ATV/Lawn and Garden
Polaris ATV
Guardian Fiberglass insulation (100%, I might add!)
Ford (ask about J Walter Thompson pgm)
State Farm
Frigidaire
Oreck
Guide One Insurance
Farm Bureau Insurance
Cingular (since discontinued I think)

Always get pre-approval if not using the company's spots/scripts
