Classic VS Modern

I hope this is the right place to ask this question. In my local radio market we have one Coutnry station that is all Classic Country. Two that mix Classic with Modern and the others are all Modern. Which of these formats seem to gain a higher advertising revenue? Just a question I am curious about. Thanks.

In our market, we have two country stations that play mostly "modern" country. For a number
of years we also had a rimshot station that played classic country.

The two modern country stations both out-billed the classic country station, although I don't
know how much better one does over the other in terms of billing these days.

I'm actually interested in this topic myself, as I am a potential applicant for an LPFM when that
opportunity becomes available. Classic country is enough of a niche format that it might actually
develop a following again with no classic station in the market.

For the stream, which is available now, I do play the currents - but with a heavy does of classic country on a daily basis. This mix is now trending up.
