CJGX 940 Downgrades

Owner Harvard Media appleis to downgrade to 690 Watts form the current 10kw directional power. The night time towers have already been removed due to safety concerns after having reached their useful life span.

690 watts non directional on 940 will be a pretty good signal locally for them.

Wasn't this one 50 kw day and 10 kw at night at one point?

This might give me a better chance at Des Moines, Mexico City, Montreal, or Valentine NE. All four are needed on this frequency.

Mostly get Fresno here at night, or KWBY Woodburn, Oregon. I've only heard CJGX a handful of times. Not sure how much the power drop will affect the channel here in the Seattle area. It's good they'll still have decent nighttime coverage of Yorkton, though.
