CBS News DFW is now CBS News Texas

they kept the CBS 11 branding outside of its newscasts unlike KCBS and WWJ, but the KPIX branding is barely spoken when it rebranded
Yes Expect more places where Paramount owns a CBS or CW affiliate to be renamed as CBS News "Name of Place" such as Philadelphia, Denver, Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, Boston, Baltimore, Sacramento, Miami, and Pittsburgh. We need to wait and see how many more Paramount owned CBS and CW affiliates get the rebranding.

But I get it it's all about the current era and Channel numbers may be fading but being on their respective networks app on TV is the main goal for this current rebranding.

fading even at expense of low income users who cant afford broadband

So they call themselves "CBS News Texas"...does that include Houston, San Antonio or Austin (which have their own CBS affiliates)? West Texas?
