Cat Stevens Radio Interview?!

I just read on radiocentral that Barry Scott from "The Lost 45s" on Oldies 103.3 has an interview with Yusuf Islam (the guy who USED to be Cat Stevens) coming up in April. Although it's a rare one (they say), wasn't he banned from the United States a few years ago?

Wasn't his "Peace Train" derailed in the "Wild World"? Didn't his Morning Get Broken? Is this a good idea?

I think he's been keeping the interview a 'mystery' on the air and on his web site...it still isn't there at http://www.lost45.com Maybe this is why?

Kudos though for a rare interview. He does get them!
 
The former Cat Stevens had a piece a few months back on CBS' Sunday Morning. It was an excellent rehash of his early popularity, conversion to Islam and the famous 'barred in the USA' fiasco (and it was a fiasco).

Not sure how anyone could improve on that interview.

Oh, and BTW, Cat says he has recently picked up his guitar again and is in the process of creating more music. Good on ya CAT!!!!!
