Cat Country 94.1 Cincinnati Drops Morning Koffy; Goes Local In Mornings

Here are the changes for Cat Country 94.1 FM

Dropping Westwood One’s “Morning Koffy”, the station has moved morning show producer/midday host Karen Van Zant to mornings from 6am to 12pm. Promotions Director Austin ‘Tater’ Ratcliff adds the 12-3pm slot to his duties. Program Director Chris Clare remains in afternoons with Westwood One’s Nights with Elaina and Later with Lia rounding out the lineup.

This is an interesting story, since this station had been a "Nash" station for years, running syndication in morning drive. Now they just got a new market manager, and his first move is to go local in the mornings. Will it make a difference? He seems to believe he can make more money with a local morning show.
