Best radio station names

Most branding seems a bit bland, and is reused in several markets (Hot, Cat, Q, B, Z, Cool, Kiss, Star. Big, King, etc. with "Cool" being used 4 times within a 225 mile span of me), however I particularly like when they can capitalize on a random callsign given to them, like K Triple R (104.9 KRRR) locally, or 92.1 WOLF in Syracuse, or 94.5 KOOL Phoenix. Sadly, however, you just don't see stations taking advantage of this too often. A good branding package IMO is probably that of KLVE Los Angeles at 107.5, or KBCO Denver. I like that one because it plays off of WBCQ the shortwave station, and the KBCO slogsn is "World Class Rock".

In terms of television stations, I always liked that cat featured on Sacramento's "TV20!"

Another fabulous cat was that of WAPA, Channel 4 in San Juan.

For decades that cat was their mascot.

And another:

And, finally, the Christmas version in Old San Juan

And speaking of nine, let us not forget K9 Kitty Radio
because somewhere in this town is a greased pig named Zork,
and inside that pig is a not so new, not so crisp $100 bill.
(that one was and might still be available in the archives of
the dog-cow station, Woof-moo)

Sounds like employees singing the jingles. Was this a joke reel? Edit: after reading all the posts I answered my own question!

K-9 Kid Power Radio which turned into Punk Country as I recall

There was also WMPO, There Buddy (not on YouTube....it's probably be pulled if it was).

I worked for a station called The Hound and at the time, I wasnt able to find another with the same name. There's a rotating dog head on the roof of the building, and the station once had a smart car made up to look liek a dogs head.. and had speakers under the hood and near the truck connected to an mp3 player that played sound effects of whinining, whimpering, barking and peeing.
