Baltimore Mayor bans WYPR Radio's Kenneth Burns from Press Conferences

What are you talking about? What misconduct? By whom?
Maybe you should slow down on posting stuff to actually read the articles (and check your grammar).

This is what I meant though When I read the articles

WYPR news director Joel McCord attended Wednesday's press briefing in Burns' place. He challenged Rawlings-Blake's decision.

"I believe in the freedom of the press, and Mr. Burns is welcome at any of my public press events," Rawlings-Blake told him. "WYPR is welcome to all of them. This is a very close-quarters press event, and Mr. Burns has consistently exhibited verbally and physically threatening behavior, particularly to my staff.

"We can't tolerate that," she continued. "We have to do things to protect ourselves. This is still open to the press. This is still open to WYPR."

Why are "When," "Allegations" and "Misconduct" capitalized? They don't begin a sentence and they are not proper nouns.
"Allegations ... is?" "Allegations" is plural. "Is" is singular.
"...meant When I read..." Maybe, but it is not clear what you "meant" when you wrote your post. After those additional links, it still isn't.
Some local politician imitates "The Donald," who threw the guy from Univision out of a press conference and then backed down. This is Baltimore, which gave us Spiro T. Agnew.

Except she's a Democrat. Which proves that attacks on the media aren't limited to one party. Not that we needed proof.

Media coverage isn't an extension of marketing. It's not always going to be positive. That's the difference between agreeing to an interview and buying ad time.

If they're concerned about being in close quarters, then it's not a press conference.

Yes a Broadcaster in the USA has been detained before because a mayor for what ever reason said "Investigative reporter was remaining after being forbidden". Also the News Director and the General Manager of a news outlet always find themselves fighting against the Mayor and Cabinet members or city council over transparency issues and free speech issues. As in the case of a similar incident in Louisiana.
