Bahakel Communications has announced a leadership change at its Chattanooga properties.

Bernie Barker will retire as General Manager of AC “Sunny 92.3” WDEF-FM, CHR “Hits 96.5” WDOD-FM, Classic Country “Q97.3/99.3” WUUQ/W257AZ and AAA “Alt 98.7” 1370 WXCT/98.7 W254DB on June 30. Barker joined Bahakel in 2009 after stints as Market Manager for Cumulus in Montgomery and Mobile AL. He has also managed in Birmingham and Columbus GA.
