Every other system seems to have an easier configuration with most options already provided.We are not flying the Shuttle.....we are storing and playing back audio!How may freakin' options do you really need? For a guy like you, with a graduate degree in computer sciences, the ability to fully customize the system is great.....but for most stations, the standard boilerplate will work just fine.

That's cool....network congestion is no doubt a challange, musically! Your gonna' be one dangerous son o' bitch when you add the law degree!!!!!!!!!!
 
If you have a small market station that needs a simple automation system, look at 11 software Jockey Pro. They have a LT and Pro version. The LT is bare bones but will do most everything you need and it costs $100!!! Seriously, check this out.

Scott aren't the only ones. MediaTouch is just as bad. Even worse, they invite you to email them, and then you never hear a thing. The business folks asked whether we would renew tech support at the tune of $1400 for 12 months. I told them we were sitting on it, because if we're going to pay that much, we want calls and emails returned. They said "oh." Never heard from them again...

> go with the folks that treat you right. Prophet with Nexgen 2.also checkout the nexgen 101 for small operations especially stand alone.and you can get the music gen free download even if you don;t use Prophet.that a free music scheduler...easy to use.alot of non clear channels use Prophet so enuff said.
