Any good Zararadio type automation for Linux?

I HAVE HAD IT WITH WINDOWS!!!

Salem, the religious broadcaster has a system designed in house and available for free that runs on Linux.
Here is the link to the site: www.rivendellaudio.org/
You will need the following to make it function properly:
Pentium 4 CPU
256 MB RAM
SuSE Linux Professional 9.x
XFree86 Supported Video Card
AudioScience Audio Adapter
Mouse or other Pointing Device
Optional: Touchscreen Monitor

May be allot better than Zara! And the price is right!

I have Ubuntu 8.04...let me know.....

i tryed it, and i had no issues that i could tell. i got ub. 8.04.1 i did have to grab a couple dependences but that was no big deal

did good for me.

now i did upgrade to 8.10 ubuntu today (fresh install) and atm unable to get it working

so for ubuntu 8.04 - good
ubuntu 8.10 - no luck atm.

i would say give it a try on a local machine, see if you like it or not. i would prob use this if i had a station but from what i have tested on it its worth trying
