I don't even know if you read this website; however if you find time to read this in your spare time suddenly pounced upon you without your consent; let me be the first to say I am sorry to hear about your departure at KLUV. You know who I am; you've known me for years. I hope this message finds you well. You drove many of us crazy at the station; however I always enjoyed listening to your stories and your admitted obsession about Karen Carpenter. I was the first one to tell you two years ago that her final resting place wasn't so final.

You deserved a much better departure than the one you received. I left my long-held position several months ago. It was the best thing I ever did for myself. I have bounced back with a much better position and a much smaller commute (70 percent less). So things do happen for a reason!

Wishing you all the best,

It's never fun nor fair when something like that happens. I've been on both sides of it. And, Chuck, I send my best wishes as well. I enjoyed listening to KLUV, and I almost had a chance to work there...Chuck I'm the one who sent the Elvis impersonator to promote myself, but you ended up hiring HIM. :)
But you treated me fairly, and I appreciate it. Best wishes for the future.

And that's the whacky world of broadcasting. Much like the news anchor whose audition tape had him on camera with a co-anchor. The co-anchor got an offer.
