However, some good conjecture on the timeline for "the change." Delkus can understudy for just so long before he is no longer thought of as waiting in the wings for his cue. On the other hand, Channel 8 could want just that--for Delkus to sort of blend into the operation then one day rise to the top when Troy's departure is finalized. A 2006 final bow (tie) for Troy sounds reasonable.
