Maybe the Men's Wearhouse could assist with a quantity discount.

I was hoping someone would fill out my post with that line.

Channel 8 ran two wx promos during the 5:30 local news tonight (Sunday)--both featuring Troy, Greg, and Steve. Seems like there has been ample time to retool the promos and include Delkus. Don't know what, if anything, this action portends. Anyone's thoughts?

I finally saw one yesterday with Delkus in it. I think over the next week we will see more. I expect Troy will do the Santa's helpers this year and retire in 2006. They should keep him under a contract to be involved with Santa's helpers from now on. It's one of the better feel good things they do. Of course I am just sitting here at my computer with opinions and no information.

However, some good conjecture on the timeline for "the change." Delkus can understudy for just so long before he is no longer thought of as waiting in the wings for his cue. On the other hand, Channel 8 could want just that--for Delkus to sort of blend into the operation then one day rise to the top when Troy's departure is finalized. A 2006 final bow (tie) for Troy sounds reasonable.

Notice the back drop at the 5:30p news tonight? There was no desk,no back wall.Only Rebecca with a very close close up a on a chroma key with the news room as a backdrop. It looked like it was influenced by CNN's style. It appears theexperimentation with the look is on.Expect a change in the music in the upcoming months, and a new weather plus sports look.
