In the 1980's KEZX Seattle offered a unique mix of AC, "Westcoast" singer-songwriter pop, AOR, and contemporary jazz. It was an early version of what evolved into the AAA format.
I was aware of the station in 1988, but never had the chance to hear it. Recently I received several hours of airchecks of KEZX from someone who lived in Seattle, and had the forethought to roll tape on the station. I was given the OK to post these recordings on his behalf.
