Aircheck: DWCT "Citylite" 88.3 MHz Pasig-Manila, The Philippines July 2002
The very first internet stream I ever heard was Citylite, which was based in Manila, The Philippines. It was a low-fi Realaudio stream back in December 1996. At the time, their feed buffered frequently, and our slow connection didn't help. Sometime in 1997, they went offline and stayed off for several years. In 2002 they returned using Quicktime. Within a year, the station dropped smooth jazz and is now known as Jam 88.3. I recorded this stream sometime around the end of July 2002. It is just under 2 1/2 hours.
