In Milwaukee, CBS has had affiliations (whether primary or secondary) on six different stations, including one that hasn't existed since 1955 (WCAN 25), and two stints on another one (WITI, 1959-61, '77-94). Current affiliate WDJT is the longest-tenured CBS station in Milwaukee's broadcast TV history, closing in on 28 years by this coming December; it had long surpassed WITI's combined 19 years with CBS, as well as WISN's 16-year stint (1961-77) with the Eye. If WDJT sticks around with CBS beyond 2029, it would surpass the combined stints of WITI and WISN's time with CBS.
In the same vein with WDJT, WITI's soon-to-be 28 years with Fox is their longest-running network affiliation, by far. WISN's two stints with ABC (1954-61, '77-present) total 52 years and counting, and even if you count just the current affiliation agreement between two, it's still the second longest-running network-station relationship in Milwaukee television, just behind the soon-to-be 75 years of service that WTMJ-TV has with NBC.
