Am i going crazy? Has anyone else noticed a metallic sounding “ringing” behind the audio? It seems more noticeable on music versus speaking.

Its definitely not something i notice on other stations so i dont think its my hearing lol

thats Telos Voltair crnaked up past 11, watermarking the audio
 
Haven't listened in a while but you could hear the encoding on WKIS in Miami after CBS took it over. It was annoying to someone who knew what it was. Must have been doubly so to folks that didn't.

When i was in NW PA, 80 miles E/SE of Erie, i heard it on WMJI Cleveland.. it was AWFUL.....
