93.5 Port St Joe is no more

Isn’t it more common for adjacent/harmonic stations to apply for upgrades that would kill off 93.5C2 for the former site?
That would probably result in someone being able to apply for a new 93.?FM in the middle of a big bend swamp.

iHeart unloaded the station because it was one of the worst signals in the market, right?
