Show originates at an FM talk station in Portland - yet another late night conspiracy theory show.

It's more of a talent development thing. If you employ a bunch of nutjobs, you want a stable of them warming up so if one host completely flips out you have others ready to plug in.

It's also a branding & name recognition issue. For how long would you expect I Heart/Premiere to sell this Clyde fellow to Noory's audience? C2CAM already has a stable of fill-ins. Why not simply add Clyde as a fill-in like Punnett et al?
