Milwaukee -- Michael Crute and Sage Weil have filed a $650,000 deal to buy WAUK (540) from Good Karma Brands. The deal includes the Waukesha, WI-licensed translator W266DR at 101.1 FM. They will operate the station under a time brokerage agreement until closing. Crute currently owns a controlling stake in talk “Devil Radio” WTTN (1580) in the Madison, WI market. Once the sale closes, Good Karma will still own four stations in the Milwaukee market including sports “94.5 ESPN” WKTI, “News Radio 620” WTMJ, talk WAUK (540), and talk WGKB (1510).
