WOW! thank you(and I actually like, have played and supported the "Judy Garland Records", but when that's all that's offered up as represntative of a genre, then it's easy to understand the hard times that dance fell on in terms of sales and crossover airplay.I have supported the genre for decades, and as an active club dj,I want to see the next generation indoctrinated into the fold, but there needs to be a "who Let the Dogs Out", a "do it Again", or a "We Like To Party" to bring them in in the first place. That's what I'm intent on trying to do, and shall continue to do, and reaction rom dance strongholds like Greece,Belgium,Mexico, and now Germany, has been extremely encouraging.
While I tend to be over stated to the point of obnoxious at times, at the end of the day, we're all on the same team, and with the help that dance needs ,I've come to realize that everyone should be pulling together ,instead of pulling apart.(Thanks again, and with my 'punk rock' past, I'll try to live up to the "Eminem" standard when we finish the full length, including the tribute to Bobby O ,when I record a homage to my late friend, Divine, with a "Jimi" take on "Native Love-Step by Step",although the next single is a cha cha track,Dance Floor, and "Last Call" which completes the trilogy of "For DJs Only" and "sorry, No requests".
