1077 The End Still Plays System Of A Down!!

Although 1077 The End is an active rock-free alternative rocker now (since '04, after a brief stint with classic alternative), they played System Of A Down's "Radio/Video." "B.Y.O.B." is only played on KISW & Funky Monkey, both active rawkers.
 
Speaking of KISW, did you notice Ricker's no longer on the website (kisw.com)? Is he gone?
 
He was on BJ Shea's show last week talking about a death in the family but thinking back it might have been a little sarcastic on his part so maybe it is true?

So modern rockers with some taste and good sense can't play System of A Down? "B.Y.O.B." is a kickass, timely rock song that asks the right questions and has some brains. Sounds like a perfect fit for modern rock to me.

My favorite System Of A Down tune is "Psycho". A crack trip put to music basically. Fasten your seatbelts for the choruses, the opening verse alone can induce whiplash....
