The New Sound of Power 98.3

You have a point there. The Power 92 I remember had Gina G, Living Joy, Deee-Lite, Angelina, Real McCoy, and Rozalla being played 24/7. Do you see their songs getting played elsewhere other than SiriusXM Utopia or on the apps? Like I said no one wants a Rhythmic or Dance station on a terrestrial signal anymore.
Power in the early 2000s was hip-hop and R&B. They ditched the dance in 1997 to save themselves from KPTY. I know musical taste is subjective, but hip-hop back then still had some kind of creativity to it.

Yes, but today’s Hip-Hop has turned into a contest to see who can out-“Beef” each other and already 2024 has turned out to be dismal for the Rhythmic format in general unless you live in Omaha and listen to KOPW (Who is beating its two Top 40/CHR rivals in the market’s Nielsen Audio books). At this rate unless a new competitor comes along this will be the new norm for Phoenix.
