Sinclair To Launch The Nest Broadcast Network

I wonder if WXSP .2 will be airing The Nest as they air Stadium that was added in Feb of this year. As most of Sinclair's diginets are aired on the Nexstar subchannels which kinda surprises me. As WXSP .3 is Comnet WWMT aired that on .3 which Charter Spectrum never aired Sinclair's .3 ever which is now TBD since fall of 2021.

Maybe replaces all Stadium channels that are a Digital Sub Channel but won't see it KC area intill feed of Stadium gets moved to a full power station.

Why does that surprise you?? Many Scripps networks are carried on Ion affiliates owned by Inyo Holdings (Including KPXC 59 here in Denver) while the Sinclair networks are all over the dial (Including Nexstar owned KWGN 2 & KDVR 31)

Same with KC all over Sinclair including Stadium KCMN that's low power.

What I mean is that Sinclair & Nexstar are in the same market is all why they don't use WWMT .4 or .5 for there diginets. Charged never on any of the subchannel was on WXMI's Fox17 .4 they got rid of it in Feb of 2021 did return to WOTV .3 in Sep of 2021 when Scripps diginets went bye bye bye on Nexstar for ION & Bounce went to Fox17's .3 which I wish was Court TV was still on the .3 and Bounce went to ION subchannels.

I get that in outside that Scripps, Nexstar can get Comet, Charged, The Nest etc. And others that aren't in the same market just surprises me that they would let the rivals in the same market to air the diginets. Media General was the one that bought the Scripps diginets before Scripps got into West Michigan buying Fox17 in the Nexstar Tribune merger. Nexstar hasn't taken Antenna TV from Fox17 been on .2 since it was launched in 2010 or 2011.

Help me understand this report: Sinclair is replacing Stadium on their stations (and stations they operate) with The Nest but Stadium is not leaving OTA TV, correct?

No. From the Sinclair Broadcast Group press release:
The Nest replaces Stadium network on broadcast stations across the country.

It appears that will include KCAL, which is not owned or operated by Sinclair. They apparently also have new stations lined up in Dallas and Philadelphia.

Thank you.

No, new stations for The Nest.

Oh man they really scrapped the bottom of the programming barrel to put together this network.

I’m curious as to why they bothered, especially since they already have the really aimless TBD already. At least Charge! and Comet have some content worth watching, that said…

They own the "Comet" network, and man, the stuff they censor is ridiculous.

Yeah I’ve noticed some episodes of both The X-
Files and Grimm were edited, and they skipped over airing a couple X-Files episodes due to content/subject matter (including the infamous Home episode.

A while back they aired Tales from the Darkside episodes rather chopped up as well, and it wasn’t for additional commercial time either.
