Seems like everybody at some point is getting their own tv talk show, Kelly Clarkson as one, Tameron Hall has one, how can there be enough time slots for people to have a talk show without having to cancel one?

Talk shows get cancelled all the time. Kelly Clarkson replaced Steve Harvey at NBCUniversal, and Tamron Hall replaced either Pickler & Ben or Who Wants to be a Millionaire on many stations.
It will be interesting who picks up Drew Berrymore as WB tried for 2017 in Syndie for fall and there weren't many takers why it didn't get picked up. If I had to guess in the West Michigan TV market Fox17 or WZZM Nexstar had a chance to pick up Kelly Clarkson or Tamron Hall which they passed on and Sinclair picked both up Tamron Hall on CW7 at 11AM, Kelly Clarkson on at 3PM on WWMT.

Yep but there still are many that have been around a long time, and the ones that have are ones that are co-hosted. Through I have to wonder who will be canceled to make room for Drew Barrymore to have a talk show. And it depends on what station she will go pn, if NBC I don't think that they have canceled a talk show after one season. And for sure they aren't going to cancel Ellen DeGeneres show, as she has to be the most successful solo female talk show host since Oprah Winfrey.
It's syndication; it needn't necessarily mean a show is cancelled to be introduced to the marketplace. If that's even what the paragraph was supposed to be suggesting.
