Loud Media has begun operating Knoxville market “Good Time Oldies 104.9” WTNQ La Follette and Hot AC “106.1 The River” WJRV Oliver Springs TN ahead of the closing of its $325,000 acquisition of the stations from Momentum Broadcasting.
106.1 WJRV has flipped to Rock “106.1 WVLZ” assuming the format that was heard in the market on 1120 WVLZ Maryville/97.1 W245DH Seymour. The “WVLZ Rocks” format debuted in March 2019 and was originally heard on WVLZ and 101.5 W268BP prior to moving to 97.1 later last year.
