WMGG Sale Brings Ritmo To Tampa

Do they plan to go back to analog broadcasting on 1470 so someone can actually hear the station?

That's a lot to pay for an AM station no one can hear, and a translator that misses much of Tampa...

Weird, I was driving in Southwestern Florida the other day and could hear them clearly and I only have an analog receiver.

If you could hear them on an analog radio then they must have already ditched the digital transmitter that no one could hear...

Or you were hearing the Fort Lauderdale station or something else.

Actually, the Tampa station sounds very good, much better than WTMP
which is equalized to roll off their highs to match their analog signal.
