WLUP (105.3 FM) adds HD radio.

WLUP 105.3 FM/Cambridge, a part of Cumulus' All-Love Songs trimulcast "Love 105" added an HD radio (digital) signal around the start of July. However, there currently is no HD subchannels, no Song/Artist information, just a simple HD radio signal. In my opinion, the HD signal on 105.3 sounds really good, and it kind of makes since to have an HD signal on WLUP especially because its the most powerful "Love" signal. Still no RDS, something that WGVX/Lakeville added earlier this year.

It's kind of heartbreaking to see the WLUP call letters wind up here as a lifelong Chicagoan that's all I'll say.
