WGN-TV Names Dominick Stasi News Director

Nexstar has announced that Dominick Stasi is going to be the News Director at WGN-TV. Also at the same time Nexstar is in works to do a national news cast called News Nation on WGN America where WGN America uses segments from other Nexstar Owned stations for the national news on the cable outlet.


Nexstar Media’s WGN-TV Chicago (DMA 3) has appointed Dominick Stasi news director effective immediately. He succeeds Jennifer Lyons, who has been elevated to vice president of news for WGN America to run News Nation, a live daily three-hour national newscast launching this summer.

WGN VP-GM Paul Rennie said: “Dom has been leading the WGN newsroom for six years as executive producer. He has led some of WGN-TV’s biggest projects, including expansion of our evening and late news, orchestrating our massive Election Night coverage, and spearheading projects like “Examining DCFS.” Dom’s leadership, news judgement and dedication make him the perfect fit for the job.”
