WCRQ

102.9 WCRQ the Border in Dennysville has flipped from CHR to country. What other station in that area plays CHR? Here is the link: https://radioinsight.com/headlines/178468/maines-border-goes-country/

Up until last winter CHTD FM 98.1 "The Tide" in Saint Stephen was country, they switched to Classic hits, much the same as WQDY 92.7 Calais and repeater WALZ 95.3 Machias. CHSJ 94.1 "Country 94 FM" from Saint John NB puts in a decent signal to far down-east Maine.

Why switch from CHR? Is there any other CHR that comes in that area?

It is likely country, with its better adult appeal than CHR, is easier to sell in that area.

Looking at the playlist on their website, it appears they’re more AC than classic hits, to me
