Shortly after filing to purchase WBSR Pensacola (1450) and its companion translator W266AL at 101.1, Miracle Radio launches “The Fan” relying heavily on Fox Sports Radio programming and carrying play-by-play action from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Orlando Magic. The new sports outlet debuted Monday, Oct. 19.
The locally-based “The Sports Roundtable,” hosted by veteran Pensacola sports radio personality Paul Chestnutt will air from 11am-12pm. Chestnutt, who is also the voice of the Pensacola Ice Flyers, broadcasts his program from cluster-mate “Talk 790” WPNN.
Miracle Radio Director of News and Sports Chris Bryan tells the Pensacola News Journal the station, “is the first real, hybrid radio station this market is going to have an opportunity to enjoy.”
