TRANSLATORS AT IT AGAIN

SO, 99.5 K258DI Humble TX Has filed to change the primary station to KJOZ 880AM .. So, i ask who is KJOZ the real primary station for (yes I know 104.5) but it's pretty crazy how the Guevarra's will fill out a fcc form with no regards to the truth because on paper KJOZ is the primary for 94.1 , 104.5 102.5 and now 99.5 and no one in Washington seems to care.

What’s funny is that 99.5 in Humble isn’t even on the air. Don’t know if that’s changed recently. Had to drive right by the tower to confirm that the radio dabang I was hearing wasn’t coming from Humble.

K258DI is in Humble and K258BZ is in Houston. Do they just turn up the power of K258BZ and put it on the Wells Fargo building to serve the area of both translators?

You’re forgetting about K258DA as well. Their legal ID includes BZ & DA but not DI. My thoughts about what’s possibly happening go against the rules on here. But I don’t believe they’ve been broadcasting from the downtown area

Not legally. But the FCC doesn't do much enforcement. They will occasionally bust a Pirate. I wonder if they even monitor the terrestrial radio or TV anymore. The problem is the Commission's fines go into the general Treasury. There is no real reason for the FCC to "look" for violations. They will answer complaints.
