The Packers-Cowboys game...

was really awesome. it looked like it was heading to OT, then Rogers threw a pass late in the 4th that is ruled a catch. Buck/Aikman and whoever was the "rule expert" on FOX agreed that it was a good catch. all the replays supported their thinking.

Did anyone else notice the apparent misplacing of the ball on first downs? Both teams seemed to benefit from the ball being placed where it landed on the field rather than the runner's first contact with the ground. I was very surprised neither announcer mentioned it. Then I thought perhaps it was the angle of the yellow first down marker line. I know that isn't official but it seemed to be way off tonight.
