All the great 610-KFRC jingles of the past are being played!
Now they are promoting Cammy and Dean in the morning on 99.7 KFRC....
Someone has really paid tribute to the "Big610" today! I just heard a Bill Drake "Ladies and Gentleman The Beat Goes On" station ID.
The Last Jingle played was Rhythm Of The City K F R C then family radio thanks to all the KFRC staff and management and the A's staff and management.
Edited by allisonmarie on 10/03/05 12:39 AM.

At 5:30 p.m., after the retrospective of the A's season (punctuated with classic KFRC jingles), Craig Hulsebos from Family Radio came on and said "This concludes our presentation of the Oakland Athletics baseball broadcasts." He went on to express Family's thanks and appreciation to the "sports staff at KFRC" and the A's for the excellent working relationship they shared, and invited A's fans to staty tuned to Family Radio.

He then gave the station ID ("You are tuned to KFRC, San Francisco, Radio 6-10") and segued into "Open Forum" with Harold Camping. (Note that the ID was only for the AM, not for both the AM and FM, as Family had been doing.)

Meanwhile, on 106.9 FM, they are NOT simulcasting with 610 -- they are playing religious music without interruption. This may be a *symptom* that a change may be in the offing, perhaps later tonight...

Looks like there will be no change tonight maybe at 12:01 tomorrow morning.

Nope. The midnight legal ID was KEAR/KFRC. (No, I didn't stay up for it. I'm weird, but I ain't that weird.)

As of 11:30 AM on Monday, still no change at 106.9. Unless they are stunting with "All Bible Study, All The Time!"
