Broadcast & Cable is reporting that the CBS O&O's including CBS 2 here in LA are expected to air the new Queen Latifah show @ 9am come September. So if Let's Make A Deal returns for a new season, will KCBS put it back @ 2pm where it was..2 years ago? And will The Doctors go back to airing on KCAL 9...somewhere on their schedule?
Other early 2013-14 news: Dr. Phil (CBS2); Steve Harvey (NBC4); Bill Cunningham (KTLA 5); and Katie (ABC 7) are all expected to return @ 3pm come the fall season! The odd station out at that time slot looks to be FOX 11 - The Riki Lake Show is not expected to be renewed for a second season. Real Housewives alum, Bethany Frankel is taking over the canceled Anderson Live literally. The show is set to air on most of that stations that now carry AL (FOX 11 and MY 13 in LA) and Warner Bros. is moving Ms. Frankel into the New York studio once Anderson moves out!
KTLA will add The Test, starring stand-up comic Kirk Fox to it's "Talk Block" (most likely time slot: 4pm) It's all about lie-detector and DNA Tests. KDOC is adding Cops Reloaded from 20th Television. The studio is said to be pulling the original Cops from the various cable nets in favor of these newly re-tooled reruns, being described as a Pop-Up Video version of the show.
