Strange cassettes from the eighties

During the mid eighties, there was in Argentina a strange collection of cassettes and LPs called "FM USA", in which each side included what seemed to be a "live" radio show in English, composed of covers from songs of that time, American radio ads (!) and even "live" segments! Each volume seemed to be focused in a different state. For example, volume 3 (there were 7 in total) which includes mostly ads from Los Angeles, while volume 7 includes ads from Florida, both for stations of the state and for national advertisers like Bud Light.

Here's the look of volume 3 cassette:

And here's an excerpt of the side B of the same volume, including a traffic report from "KIQQ" and an ad for USA Today, plus the beginning of a cover of "Penny Lover" performed by an undisclosed artist:

I find amusing the fact that we don't know who the heck perform these songs. On the first two volumes, the artist are disclosed, but they have fantasy names like "Teddy Palmer" and "Carly Jones". Starting with volume 3, the artist of the album was labeled as "FM USA", like if the name of the collection was also the performer of the songs.
Maybe sharing this with all of you is a little strange, but I wanted to share my fascination for these highly unknown, strange and illogical records with all of you ;D The records were released between 1984 and 1986 by the Music Hall record company, with the permission of "Solid Bones" (??)
