Star 94 Appreciation Post

This post is not about profitability or research or any metric; it's not about advertisers or PPMs. I just love what Star 94 is doing. The variety is incredible! The playlist includes songs one can't hear anywhere else on the FM dial. The only thing I'd like to hear is some more jocks.

Do any of you agree about Star 94?
 
I like the format, just wish they would have left the Star branding and it’s baggage in the past. But I’m glad to see it somewhat paying off for them, this station needed a change for years.

Very good point about other stations. The best counter-example to Star is B-98.5. I'm bored by 99% of B's playlist. With Star, I can't wait to hear what they will play next.
