Politico is reporting that Cumulus will drop both hosts from all their stations at the end of the year:

.
Now, it is convenient that Clear Channel already owns WOR in New York, and various talk stations in other markets. But not in Chicago. Or Washington, DC either.
So, if WLS is dropping both hosts, where will they go? WGN is out of the question. There's always WIND, but would Salem really be willing to pay the price? Or perhaps Merlin flips 101.1 (shudder) to talk like they did in Philly. Would Clear Channel be desperate enough to blow up one of their FMs? This could get interesting.
