The KRWM/KISW bipolar PPM seesaw continues......

Inside the 6+ things remain stable. Top station in men 6a-7p in prime demo? KISW. Top station in women 6a-7p in prime demo? KPLZ Top station in mornings in prime demo? KUOW. No real change at all in the key demos some summer changes within dayparts. While KISW and KRWM battle for the 6+, most of KRWM's audience is well over 50 and out of the key demos, same with KIRO-FM, KOMO and the Talk stations. Only KUOW seems to draw a big number in prime demo.

The Country battle seems to be heating up with KMPS mornings beating or tying KKWF and the stations overall neck and neck. Good CHR battle too as KQMV has moved past KBKS both 25-54 and overall 6+. Summer can be strange as people go on vacation and kids aren't in school. Might be why KKWF mornings, usually solid slipped way back and why stations like KQMV, KLCK and THE END popped up. They did the same last summer.

Summer books have always been a bit suspect just because listening patterns change.
