Radio Exterior Espana Suspends Shortwave Transmissions For 2 Days....

REE always had (and maybe still have?) the best audio quality on shortwave. They didn't sharply cut off the audio bandwidth at 5 kHz like everyone else, and IIRC their bandwidth was even wider than 10 kHz. When they played music it sounded hi-fi, except for the propagation effects.

I agree.... and interestingly enough, their N. Af, Middle East signals are often better for me then the N.Am one.. i think because the N. AF signal I may be getting off the back......... and the Middle East signal is roughly sending its main lobe in the direction the back lobe of the N. Af signal is going.
