Providence's WBRU Being Sold??

On the Providence board, there is an active discussion concerning reports that the city's WBRU-95.5, which is a rock station (except on Sundays; most of Sunday is devoted to urban music) and has programmed some sort of rock since around 1969 or 1970, is being sold.

Although WBRU has had success in the ratings, depending on who buys the station (if in fact 'BRU is sold), WBRU's format could very well be changed.

THIS SURE SMELLS LIKE A HOAX!!!!

Ended up being an April Fool's prank. This probably would have been a better post for the alternative board though.
