Penn Jillette???

I've heard about 5 minutes of it. Seemed to me he was rambling on about tricks he's done in the past. Is that the jist of his show? I am also curious if FREE-FM runs spots during that hour and if so how much he gets paid to yap for 45 minutes or so.

So far, it is the only show I like.

Ok, let me get this straight....
You are startled that a magician who has his own radio show spent his first show on the air talking about his magic? What did you think he was going to talk about, economics? I think you need to give him a chance.

My question is this: What sets FreeFM aside from Air America (except for the FM part)? Seems to me, both are looking for a progressive audience.

I wasn't shocked by his content being that this is what he is known for. I guess the shock is towards CBS thinking this crap will reel in such a big audience.

For the record, Penn is a Libertarian, not a "progressive".

If you put him and Franken on together you could cause mass suicide. I'd be surprised if FreeFM is around as is by the end of the year. I'd say DLR, gone, Corolla might survive, Penn, no thought necessary here, gone. Horrid radio. And this "progressive" mantra, what's that a term for another group of people who think they know more than the other group. Please. Boring.
